Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament for Mzuzu City constituency Leonard Njikho has joined the United Transformation Movement (UTM).
Njikho was spotted putting on UTM regalia at rally held on Saturday at Mzuzu upper Stadium where UTM leader Dr. Saulos Chilima was in attendance.
In a related development, opposition People’s Party (PP) Member of Parliament for Mzimba North Constituency Agnes Nyalonje has also joined the UTM after dumping the party.
Nyalonje was also spotted at the rally.
Some of the notable faces that graced the event includes; Olipa Muyaba, Emily Chinthu Phiri and former flames coach Kinnah Phiri.
UTM Secretary General Patricia Kaliati hailed the MPs from the Northern Region for joining the grouping.
