Policein Livingstone have formally arrested and charged the two Chinese nationals and nine Zambians involved in the case of unlawful drilling.
Southern Province Police Commissioner Bonny Kapeso has identified the two Chinese suspects as Niu Zhichuan aged 37 also owner of Warm Harbour Hotel in Livingstone, and Xu Hvibo aged 31.
Meanwhile Kapeso said the Director of Alert Security Company identified as Senethinia Mudenda aged 36 and eight other suspects are still detained in police custody.
He identified the eight other suspects as Abel Sibuku aged 24, Edward Litungi aged 24, Fred Nalumino aged 18 and Lubinda Lubinda aged 24, all security guards of the named company in Livingstone.
Kapeso identified others as Sam Muleya aged 27 years, Bonwell Chisha aged 22, Likando Masheke aged 39 and Robinson Mumba aged 23.
â€śZhichuan has two counts of failing to secure a firearm and unlawful drilling while his counterpart Hvibo faces two counts of unlawful possession of firearm and unlawful drilling. The Director of Alert Security Company Mudenda is charged with three counts of harboring, unlawful drilling and unauthorised use of uniforms Chapter 111 of the laws of Zambia,â€ť Kapeso said.
He said the eight others have been slapped with the offence of unauthorised use of uniforms and unlawful drilling.
