According to reports, the driver who was speeding on a vehicle belonging to Uganda’s Ministry of Lands hit a cyclist by the name, Isaac Sssekirime together with his passenger Nice Kalimwine.

After the incident, the unidentified driver is said to have escaped the wrath of the angry mob by the help of the Police officers who later detained him at a Police station.

The residents set ablaze the vehicle and by the time the firefighting Police arrived, the vehicle had already been reduced to ashes.

New Vision reports that initially, the riders in the area had lodged complaints about the way this driver has been driving and asked the Police to advise him.
