Tired of living with a stingy man, a Zambian woman living in Mansa has dragged her husband of 11 years to court because he locks himself in the bedroom to eat food and avoid sharing it with his family, ZambianObserver reports.
This was heard in a case in which Ireen Bwalya sued Joseph Nonde for divorce due to misunderstandings.
The two tied the knot in 2007 and have five children together.
Bride price was paid.
Bwalya said problems in her marriage started after her husband began to show his true colours of stingness.
The case was adjourned for another day.
