Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has declared incumbent Henry Mussa winner of the parliamentary primaries held on Thursday.

According to DPP secretary general Grezelder Jeffrey, Mussa won with 3650 votes while his challenger Joe Nomale got 1600.

However, Nomale protests the announcement saying that Mussa left the venue before vote counting after noticing that he was losing.

But Jeffrey asked Nomale to learn to accept defeat.
