Earth tremor hit Karonga, Chitipa

An earth tremor has today hit parts of Misuku in Chitipa and Karonga districts, with no deaths and injuries reported so far.

One of the teachers at Mughese Primary School, Mr. John Thindwa confirmed of the development in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS).

According to Thindwa, the earth tremor disrupted classes at the school and one the classroom blocks has developed cracks.

So far no injuries have been recorded.
