President Peter Mutharika said he will industrialize Malawi in the next five years as he is confident of winning the May 21 watershed elections.

Mutharika made the remarks on Wednesday at a public rally when he was launching Kasiya-Santhe road.

He further said that his vision is to industrialize Malawi through wealth-creation projects.

“In the next five years I want to industrialize Malawi, I want to improve quality life for citizenry,” Mutharika said

He added that his mission is to create jobs for the youth and women in the country.

“I want create to create jobs for the youth and women of this country,” promised Mutharika.

Mutharika further said that no one will be able to stop him from developing the country as he is going to win the next polls.

“Nobody will stop us from developing this country. Together you and I shall take this country forward. Together you and I are unstopped, unbreakable and we will make a better Malawi,” he said.

Mutharika said he has a great vision for Malawi for the next term and determined to industrialize the country.
