Chakwera Crushed DPP Manifesto

Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Lazarus Chakwera has trashed the governing Democratic progressive Party (DPP) manifesto describing it a total crap.

In his remarks Chakwera during a campaign political rally, said DPP has failed to deliver what it promised Malawians in 2014.

He further added that DPP is to blame for the mess the country is currently facing.

“They promised to end corruption but you can see that corruption has reached alarming levels. They have failed,” said Chakwera.

According to Chakwera, a manifesto is not just a document but a set out for electors the policies the party intends to pursue in government.

Chakwera further charged that DPP has lied in promising that it would improve living standards of people.

He further asked the crowd that there is no need for them to continue keeping DPP in power in the forthcoming elections.

He added that the recent DPP manifesto is another bunch of lies for whatever the party has promised to deliver to the country in the next five years cannot be fulfilled.

For this reason Chakwera said he is giving DPP and its leader a red card to pack and go.

“I am flashing a red card that it is time for Mutharika to pack and go,” said Chakwera.

Chakwera further said that it is only MCP that has welfare of people at heart and it is determined to change the well-being of Malawians.

“MCP is the only hope of people because the current administration has failed to deliver on their promises made in 2014,” said Chakwera.

Mutharika and Chakwera has emerged as bitter rivals since 2014.
