The newly elected Democratic Progressives Party Councilor Isaac Jomo Osman has urged fellow councilors and Parliamentarians to usher him into power during the next week, June 25 elections.
He said fellow councilors should vote for him because he like challenges and need to develop Blantyre City.
Speaking in an interview, Osman said once ushered into power he will make sure that there is sanitation in the city as it was during Noel Chalamanda’ regime who brought Beatifying Malawi (BEAM) and Keep City Clean competition campaign.
“We need to sensitize people to keep the city clean and councilors should give an opportunity to go outside to learn how their friends do things,” he said.
Osman further said his leadership skills will be different from other Mayors because before doing things, he will hold stakeholders consultation meeting with Chiefs, fellow councilors, residents to know the main challenges the city is facing and on how to develop it.
“My leadership skills will involve stakeholders to identify the challenges the city is facing not just to dictate things to residents,” said Isaac Jomo Osman who is the Founder and Owner of Mtopwa F.C.
The Former Nyasa Big Bullets Supporters’ Chairperson also said he will walk in the foot step of Isaac Nyakamera and John Chikakwiya in order to develop the commercial city of Malawi, Blantyre.
