Two more people arrested in connection to the murder of British national in Nkhata-Bay

The number of people arrested in connection with gruesome murder of Lake View Resort owner Allan Faya has jumped to three, faceofmalawi can reveal.

Fay, a British national, who was staying at the resort with his family, was found dead in the early hours of Thursday, June 27, 2019 one hundred metres from the resort.

On Friday, Police arrested resort manager Gift Mtambo on allegations that he had a hand in the murder of the deceased.

Over the weekend police arrested the wife of the deceased and another suspect identified as Zione Chirwa.

Northern Region Police Spokesperson Peter Kalaya confirmed of the arrest of the three, saying they will appear in court soon.

Kalaya said the three are yet to be charged but the law enforcers strongly believe the three know what exactly happened to the deceased.
