Cabin Crew at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) is holding a strike leaving out passengers usng the Malawian Airlines stranded.
Malawian Airlines spokesperson Joseph Josiah has confirmed the development.
according to Josiah, the Cabin Crew is demanding a salary rise.
“Yes it’s true, cabin crew refused to operate this morning citing a number of grievances which apparently they had earlier raised with management and they feel they are not being attended to.” said Josiah.
Meanwhile, the industrial action has since affected the morning flight from Lilongwe to Blantyre.
