Security team of the organizers of Anti-Ansah demonstrations Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) has apprehended a man who is suspected to have been following the coalition chairperson and his team, Faceofmalawi can confirm.
HRDC chairperson Timothy Mtambo has confirm.
The suspect identified as C. Kafumbwa is reported to be a civil servant working as the National Intelligence Security Officer.
Kafumbwa who is among the susected assailants who are suspected to have attempted to bomb a vehicle belonging to HRDC at crossroads hotel few weeks ago, was apprehended when he was allegedly following them in Lilongwe Area 10.
Meanwhile, the suspect has been taken to Area 3 Police Station for questioning.
