2 Sons Killed in Front of Mum for No Reason

Police in South Africa are investigating a case in which unknown thugs shot to death two sons in front of their mom for reasons not yet know.

The terrified 56-year-old woman told Daily Sun she was unable to sleep following the death of her son and son-in-law.

The woman from KwaDukuza was sleeping with her three grandkids aged six to 10 on Sunday night when she heard a loud knock on the door.

“I was frightened. The attackers asked if there were boys in the house,” she said.

“They beat him and dragged him outside the yard, where they shot him”

“I told them I had small children in the house, but they started breaking the windows and kicked the door down.

“They were carrying axes and knives and some had guns.” She told the grandkids to hide.

“They told me to open the windows because they couldn’t break the burglar bars,” she said.

“They pretended as if they were leaving. I think they hid in the bushes outside the yard.”

She said her 17-year-old son, who was sleeping in an outside room, tried to run away but the men caught him.

The woman said he kept on asking what he had done.

“They beat him and dragged him outside the yard, where they shot him,” she said.

“We could not even get out of the house. My 32-year-old son-in-law was also attacked and shot.” They both died.

She couldn’t understand why they were attacked.

“I’ve taken all my children to my relative’s house,” she said.

KZN police spokeswoman Captain Nqobile Gwala confirmed that police were investigating the two murder cases.
