Anti-Ansah Demos About to Start, Targeting ECF-SADC Conference

Anti-Ansah demonstrations organized by Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) are about to start in the commercial city Blantyre.
The demonstrations are targeting the 21st Annual General Conference of Electoral Commissions Forum for the Southern African Development Community (ECF-SADC) which is taking place at Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre.
HRDC is calling for Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) chairperson Jane Ansah resignation for allegedly mismanaging May 21 tripartite elections, who is in attendance at the EFC-SADC meeting.
HRDC executive members McDonald Sembereka and Billy Mayaya are leading the protests.
