Police hunting for man accused of killing his wife

Police in Dowa are hunting for a man who allegedly killed his 35 year old wife last week using carpentry hammer.

Dowa police publicist Sub-inspector Gladson M’bumpha confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to M’bumpha, the two had a disagreement when the woman sold fresh maize without the husband’s knowledge.

M’bumpha has identified the suspect as Josam Kapusa from Chauma village and the deceased as Catherine Solomon from Lufeyo village both from the area of traditional authority Chiwere in Dowa.
