Mpinganjira arrives at Court for formal charges for attempting to bribe Judges

Business tycoon Thomson Mpinganjira has arrived at Blantyre Magistrate Court where he will be formally charged in case where he is accused of attempting to bribe the Judges handling the Presidential polls case.

Mpinganjira was re-arrested on Tuesday night following a High Court order quashing Magistrate Bennedicto Chitsakamile’s ruling cancelling warrant of arrest obtained by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).

He is also expected to apply for bail.

ACB Director Reyneck Matemba said the bureau will not object the bail application but will ask for some conditions.
