Senior Superintendent Detective Noel Munthali on Friday testified in a case where Misozi Chanthunya is answering charges for allegedly killing his girlfriend Linda Gasa.
Munthali started his testimony by displaying a 20 minute video footage and still photos taken from the crime scene at Mwala Lodge in Monkey-bay.
The footage showed a dead body believed to be that of Linda Gasa, Chanthunya’s girlfriend who was murdered in 2010.
The video evidence presented in court on a projector, among others, captured the police officers in a bathroom at the lodge digging and exhuming a body.
The next person to testify in the case is Dr. Charles Dzamalala, a Pathologist who conducted an autopsy on Linda Gasa’s body.
