Man Killed, Private Parts Removed in Ntchisi

Police in Ntchisi District have launched a manhunt for assailants who killed a 48-year-old man and removed his private parts an incident that took place over the weekend near Malomo Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Sub Inspector Richard Mwakayoka Kaponda, Ntchisi Police Public Relations Officer the deceased has heen identified as Reuben Mpika from Mkanile Village in the area of Traditional Authority Chilooko in Ntchisi.

“The deceased was found dumped at a nearby stream, Mtuwanjobvu in the area of Traditional Authority Chilooko. Investigations indicates that on the fateful day the deceased went to a nearby location known as Chiwembe to drink beer and never returned back home.” Said Kaponda.

Kaponda has disclosed that postmortem has shown that death was caused due to severe bleeding as a result of multiple wounds.

“During postmortem, it was also discovered that the private parts of the deceased were cut and removed.” He addea.

Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt for the assailants in connection to the murder and if arrested, they will answer murder charge.” Said Kaponda
