Pastor Salanje suspends church services in South Africa over COVID-19

God’s Chapel Ministries of Pastor Hastings Salanje has suspended all church services in South Africa due to Coronavirus, Faceofmalawi can reveal.

Pastor Salanje confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen FOM’s reporter.

“We regret to announce that due to Government position not have a gathering of more than 100 people because of Corona virus, we will not have a church service at God’s Chapel Ministries.

“We will continue praying for the country and for the people who are affected by this virus,” wrote Salanje.

South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa banned public gathering more than 100 people one way of controlling the virus.

Meanwhile cases of coronavirus have jumped to 202 in South Africa.
