A leaked video is going viral on social media showing how the South Africa security services are dealing with people who violate the 21-day national lockdown.
President Cyril Ramaphosa placed the country under the 21-day national lockdown in an effort to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
South Africa has recorded 1, 280 cases of the coronavirus and 2 deaths, at the time of publishing.
In the video which is doing the rounds on social media, soldiers can be seen abusing some of the people who have been caught defying the national lockdown.
One of the victims is forced to roll around on the ground with soldiers close monitoring his progress to ensure that he complies with their exacting standards.
Nearby, another group of individuals is being forced to do squats under the watchful eye of the soldiers.
Those who fail to meet the proper standards receive some hefty kicks from the soldiers as an incentive to do better.

I don’t think that when you sent the military to enforce the 21 day Lockdown, this is what you had in mind.
Citizens who have broken the law should face due process not abuse as seen herepic.twitter.com/SR2VtwVXXs
