Lengwe National Park Game Rangers on Strike


Reports reaching this publication are indicating that game rangers at Lengwe National Park in Chikwawa are on strike.

According to reports, they are demanding better working conditions in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.

The game rangers are also demanding that government should consider of promoting them.

Since the country registered cases of Covid-19 different departments of government have been organizing sit in with an aim of forcing government to consider their well being against the deadly virus.

At first health workers were seen down tool their equipment who were later joined by junior staff of Malawi Prison Service.

Both had their grievances adhered to.
