Makbul Latif Appreciates APM’s Effort in Fighting Covid-19

Asian Business community Executive Member Makbul Latif has appreciated Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika for his inclusion in fighting CoronaVirus.

Speaking in an interview, Latif said he is 100 percent happy for the president’s decision to appoint a Covid-19 committee in an effort to help contain the virus.

He said the taskforce which was ushered into power by the President is working tirelessly to avoid further spread of the Coronavirus.

“The taskforce is looking into measures on how they can introduce control mechanism to control further spread of the virus which include observing social distance, hand washing by soap or sanitizers and vigorously embarking on awareness campaign,” he said.

Latif said he also appreciates local manufactures who are helping the government a lot by manufacturing and producing masks and sanitizers adding that he prays that the virus will be defeated as soon as possible and life will come back to normal as before.

Malawi now has active 40 coronavirus patients with 3 deaths recorded.
