Five people killed in road accident in Ntcheu

Five people are reported dead while others have sustained various degrees of injuries after two vehicles collided this morning in Ntcheu district.

One of the survivors Amos Selemani confirmed of the accident in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS).

According to Selemani, a truck with alleged break failure hit an oncoming vehicle before it rammed into pedestrians on one side of the road.

Some of the victims have been rushed to Ntcheu District Hospital.
