In a shocking incident that has happened recently in India, a man forced his 25-year-old wife to drink beer and then allowed his four friends to gang-rape her in front of her 5-year-old child.
The incident took place in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala on Thursday night, TimesNowNews reports.
According to a report in the news agency PTI, police have arrested five accused including the woman’s husband on Friday.
The woman also alleged that her son was beaten up by the accused when he cried.
According to the victim, her husband took her and their child out on the pretext of going to a beach. After reaching the spot, she was taken to her husband’s friend’s house where she was forcibly made to consume liquor.
Later, she was sexually assaulted in front of her son. “The woman was rescued by a young man who found her in an inebriated state along the road. He took her in his car to her home and then informed police about the incident,” the report quoted a police officer as saying.
