Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation (CHRR) and the Youth and Society (YAS) have urged Malawians to make vote wisely as we are remaining with a day to vote.
Addressing the news conference on Sunday, June 21, 2020 YASâ€™ executive director Charles Kajoloweka said that as governance watchdogs is necessary to advise people on voting.
â€śMalawi is on a critical condition that requires critical decisions to be made in order to change,â€ť Thatâ€™s why we have come in open to urge Malawianâ€™s on this,he added.
On his remarks, CHRRâ€™s Executive director Micheal Kayiyatsa said after Kenya, Malawi is second to hold fresh elections â€śwhich means that itâ€™s time to changeâ€ť.
Kayiyatsa has also urged security agents Malawi Defence Force (MDF), Malawi police to be professional during the polls.
