Neno CCAP church services suspended after 7 members tests positive of Covid-19

The Church of Central Africa Presbyterian of the Blantyre Synod has suspended all church services in Neno district due to an increase in the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases at Neno church.

General Secretary for the Blantyre Synod of the CCAP Church Reverend Billy Gama said that as of today, seven of its members have tested positive for Coronavirus at the church hence hence the decision to suspend all services until further notice.

Gama added that there could be a rise in the number since contacts are yet to disclose their status as church believers believe in cheering the sick.

Neno Covid-19 update indicates that the district has 13 confirmed cases with one recovery.
