Youth for Change (YFC) has announced that it will hold nationwide demonstrations against President Lazarus Chakwera’ Cabinet.
Yesterday, president Chakwera released a 31 member cabinet that has seen members of the same family being appointed.
Chairperson for YFC Constantine Gerald has described the cabinet as false.
According to Gerald, the fact that Chakwera is hiring people of the same family, it is clear that that the president is rewarding people for their role in the June 23, fresh presidential elections.
Meanwhile, Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) has said it is planning to engage president Chakwera to discuss with him the disappointments his cabinet has triggered.
