Chakwera finally occupies Kamuzu Palace

State President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has finally moved to Kamuzu Palace, a month after winning the fresh Presidential polls.

Chakwera’s Special Assistant, Sean Kampondeni confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the local daily papers (Daily Times).

Since winning the fresh polls, Chakwera had been operating from his private residence in Lilongwe’s Area 6.

This was so because Kamuzu Palace was being renovated.
