Frank Tumpale Mwenefumbo recovers from COVID-19


Former Member of Parliament for Karonga Frank Tumpale Mwenefumbo who was a runningmate to Atupele Muluzi in the nullified May 21, 2019 polls has recovered from Coronavirus.

Mwenefumbo confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.

“I am glad to share with you all , that I have finally tested negative for COVID 19 . I thank you all for your prayers , thoughts & support you gave me during this difficult time . I family for standing with me , Mostly I owe this to all our dedicated health care Proffessionals both at Lilongwe Pvt . clinic and KCH COVID19 isolation Centre .

“Above all I thank God for His abundant mercies on my life . To all those suffering from the pandemic I say don’t lose hope, stay positive , believe in your treatment , believe in God . force yourself to eat and drink a lot of water …. together we shall overcome ….Stay Safe , Covid 19 is real,” wrote Mwenefumbo.

Mwenefumbo was admitted to Kamuzu Central Hospital two weeks ago after testing positive to the virus.
