Death has been announced of Father Joachim Moloko Mwale of Karonga Diocese.
Father Mwale died this morning at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe and burial is scheduled to take place this afternoon at Likuni Parish cemetery.
Although the cause of his death is not known, unconfirmed reports indicates that the priest died of Coronavirus.
“It is with deep sorrow to announce the death of Fr. Msekanawose Mwale this morning at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe.
“Burial arrangements are under way possibly it will be at Likuni and most likely this afternoon.
The family will be at Likuni Parish, those of us that can join the family lets do so. Lets us adhere to all the necessary preventive measure to covid 19,” reads in part the statement made available to faceofmalawi.
