The independent schools association of Malawi (ISAMA) has expressed relief with the decision by government to explore the possibility of reopening the schools early next month.
For over 5 months now, the country’s schools have been closed as one way of controlling the spread of Covid 19 pandemic.
In his weekly address last weekend, President  Lazarus Chakwera said if the country’s schools pass a risk test, government will consider reopening schools next month.
ISAMA President Joseph Patel said the association has already informed its membership to follow all guidelines government is proposing for smooth reopening of schools.
