DPP Cadet in Cooler For Torching UTM Vehicle

Police in Thyolo have arrested Mavuto Usuwa in connection with the robbery and malicious damage to a minibus hired by United Transformation Movement (UTM) Party youth.

The incident occurred at Mangunda (Protofeeds office) a day before the fresh presidential election on 23 June, 2020.

Police spokesperson for Thyolo Amos Tione said UTM Director of Security Lewis Ngalande reported the matter to law enforcement agencies.

Usuwa, 35, is from Chiusile Village in Traditional Authority Mpando in Ntcheu.

Tione told our publication that Usuwa will appear before court soon to answer the charges leveled against him.
