A 46-year-old man has hanged himself in Siyombwe village in the area of Traditional Authority Mwaulambia in Chitipa district.
The deceased has been identified as Dan Simkonda who hanged himself on August 23,2020.
It is reported that the deceased had misunderstandings with his wife and the wife left for her home. A follow up to her home was made, however, it did not resolve the matter.
On August 23,2020, Simkonda was found hanging in his house at around 9:00 a.m.
Post-mortem results showed that death was due to suffocation secondary to strangulation.
