A Malawian has died while two female Zambian nationals are battling for their lives at Madisi Mission Hospital in Dowa after being involved in a road accident last night.
Dowa Police publicist Inspector Kaitano Lubrino confirmed of the development.
Lubrino said that Tadeyo Chipala who was driving a Nissan Diesel lorry belonging to Smallholder Farmers Fertilizer Revolving Fund of Malawi (SFFRFM) from Lilongwe heading the Kasungu direction was with two business ladies from Zambia.
He added that upon arrival at Nyagara in the area of traditional authority Chakhaza in the district,Tadeyo wanted to overtake other motor vehicles and lost control and swerved to the extreme offside where the vehicle overturned and died.
