Malawi Immigration Deports 10 Illegal Immigrants

At least 10 illegal immigrants are being deported today by the department of Immigration in the eastern region.

Eastern Region Immigration officer Vivian Kasambo confirmed of the development.

According to Kasambo, were arrested on Saturday at Ntaja in Machinga where they were operating from to an illegal mine near the area.

Out of the deported immigrants, five are form Mozambique and the remaining five are from Tanzania.

Kasambo has however said that the immigrants will be deported through Chiponde boarder in Mangochi district.
