After months of hearing the electoral case between the First petitioner- Foster Thiphiwa against Rodrick Khumbanyiwa of Chikwawa East Constituency.
Second petitioner – Enock Chizuzu against Esther Mcheka of Nsanje North Constituency.
Third petitioner – Kafandikhale Mandevana against Francis Kansaira of Nsanje Central Constituency.
The High Court of Blantyre was expecting to proceed by giving the judgement to finalise the Elections case number 32 of 2019.
During the hearing of the case, Mr Munkhondia (Director of Electoral service for Malawi Electoral Commission) was amongst those who were called by the court and stood in front of senior councilor Justin Dzonzi and Webster Kossamu who represented Enock Chizuzu and Foster Thipiwa.
Avant Publications has learnt that all lawyers involved in the case have not yet completed and submitted their final submissions which were expected to be in court today.
According to the petitioners lawyer Webster Kossamu, their final submissions will be submitted 10 days from now, after they requested for additional days from the court.
Judge Sylivester Kalembera is the one who presided over the case.
