Fire guts part of Dowa market

Fire has razed down part of Dowa main market this afternoon damaging some property in the process.

There are suspicions the fire started from a spark on a vehicle that was being welded ending up igniting fuel kept in one shop.

Vendors and other people are trying to put down the fire as fire brigade from Dowa council is yet to arrive at the seen.
