Chilima Doing Follow Ups On Reforms; Engaging BWB, ESCOM Others

State vice president Saulos Chilima is doing follow up engagements with parastatals on his Public Sector Reforms at Mount Soche Hotel in the commercial city of Blantyre.

Writing on his Facebook page, Chilima said today he is engaging at least five parastatals.

The parastatals include Blantyre Water Board (BWB), Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (Escom), Electricity Generation Company (Egenco), Public-Private Partnership Commission (PPPC) and Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (Admarc).

When he first met the parastatals earlier, Chilima challenged them to deliver exceptionally.

For instance, he challenged the BWB to ensure that the problem of water scarcity should come to an end within the period of 30 days.
