Chanco Investigating Alleged Rape

Chancellor College Administration has said it is investigating the allegations of rape that are believed to have happened around its campus.

During the week social media platforms report that a female student from the university was raped by group of 7 boys from the campus.

According to reports, the girl was drunk and made her way to the room of her boyfriend of which she did not find him only to meet the roommate of her boyfriend an friend who the raped her.

According to Registrar of the College, Mary Wasili, the institution is aware of the rumor and investigations are underway.

Public Relations Officer of Zomba Police, Patricia Supiliano, has said that the Police have not received any official report of the case yet but the Criminal Investigation Department is looking into the incident.
