Two siblings have met their untimely death after being attacked by bees at Awutu Kwame Whettey in the Awutu Senya West District of Central Region.
Reports have it that the siblings identified as Esi Anobia, 13, and Akua Hannah aged 3, and other residents were in a forest collecting firewood when the bees attacked and kill the two of them.
Mother of the two who were with the deceased in the forest speaking in an interview with Adom News disclosed that they saw the bees coming their way.
According to Madam Dorah Quaye, she ran in an attempt to call for help. The bees attacked three adults and other children but unfortunately her kids couldn’t survive.
Three people are still in critical condition and receiving treatment at Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital while 10 others are in stable condition.
