Chakwera still with Africa tour, now heading to Botswana

Reports reaching this publication indicates that President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera will travel to Botswana on Friday, November 27, 2020.

The trip to Botswana comes barely weeks after a trip to South Africa where Chakwera’s entourage was ill-treated by security personnel.

The development made Chakwera’s travel back to Malawi to delay for about 7 hours.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International cooperation Eisenhower Mkaka also confirmed of the delay describing it as uncalled for.

Meanwhile details of the trip to Botswana are still sketchy at the moment.
