Mpinganjira’s bribery case resumes at High Court in Blantyre

The High Court in Blantyre has resumed hearing of Judge bribery case involving well-known businessman Thom Mpinganjira.

Currently the state through the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is parading the fourth witnesses in the case by the name of Judge Dr. Redson Kapindu.

On Monday the state paraded two witnesses in the name of Healey Potani who chaired a panel of five Judges who handled the Presidential polls case in the country and Justice Dingiswayo Madise.

Speaking after the court session yesterday ACB Director Reyneck Matemba hinted that the case will be concluded this week.

Mpinganjira is being accused of trying to bribe five judges who presided over the presidential election case to rule in favour of former President Peter Mutharika.
