‘Stop Blaming Me For Bushiri Escape’ Prophet Mboro

South Africa’s Prophet Paseka Motsoeneng popularly known as Prophet Mboro has said people should stop dragging his name in Prophet Shepherd Bushiri’s mess as he did not know anything.

Prophet Mboro was reacting to reports that he was the last person to see the leader of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) before he (Bushiri) and his wife Mary fled the Rainbow Nation.

He then added that he did not mastermind the Bushiris escape as some people are putting it before admitting that he called him on the day it is alleged that the couple left South Africa.

“People should stop blaming me for Bushiri escape because I did not mastermind it. He called me that day, but I was busy and in the evening I texted him, he did not respond then I heard he was in Malawi,” prophet Mboro said.

He said he is wondering that everyone is pointing fingers at him saying he helped Bushiri to skip the country. He therefore added that he only prayed for him to get bail the time Bushiri and his wife were in custody.

“Why is everyone saying I helped him escape? I only prayed for him to get bail, that’s all. I did not know he was going to go,” he said.

He added; “I wanted us to build each other and build our churches. I was not the last person to talk to him.”

Bushiri and his wife let South Africa few days after they were granted bail by the Pretoria Magistrate Court.

The couple is answering charges of fraud and money laundering.
