Kunje Sworn in as MEC Commissioner

Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Commissioner Linda Kunje will appear in court on Tuesday in the Eastern District of Zomba.

Lawyer for commissioner Linda Kunje ,Chimwemwe Kalua confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Kalua, Kunje has been charged with an offence of aiding his driver to commit an offence of obstructing the convoy for the President Lazarus Chakwera.

Kunje handed handed herself to East Region Police headquarters following police’s announcement that they were looking for her.
