Remains of His Grace the Late Archbishop Tarcisius Gervazio Ziyaye of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lilongwe will arrive in Malawi from Namibia today, December 17, 2020 through the Lilongwe International Airport.
Diocesan Communications Coordinator Father Louis Chikanya said after the arrival of the body, there will be prayers at the airport, then mass at the Poor Clares Monastery.
Burial will take place at the Maula Cathedral in Lilongwe on Saturday after mass prayers at the Civo Stadium.
Archbishop Ziyaye died in the early hours on Monday after an illness.
Bishop Ziyaye was born on 19th May, 1949 at Khombe Village, Ludzi Parish, Mchinji District and died on 14 December while receiving treatment in Namibia.
