Chakwera to Preside over MDF’s Officer Cadets Commissioning Parade

President Lazarus Chakwera is expected to preside over Officer Cadets Commissioning Parade at Malawi Armed Forces College (MAFCO) in Salima tomorrow.

Office of the President and Cabinet has confirmed in a press statement made available to this publication.

According to Zangazanga Chikhosi, Secretary to the President and Cabinet Chakwera is expected to arrive at the function 10am.

Officer Cadets are well trained military personnel who undergo rigorous and specialized training that includes leadership, Malawi Defense Force (MDF) website says.

Chakwera is Commander in Chief of the MDF by default.
