Archbishop Mark Kambalazaza Elected EAM Chairperson

Archbishop Dr. Mark Kambalazaza of the Charismatic Redeemed Ministries (CRM) has been elected as chairperson of the Evangelical Association of Malawi (EAC) replacing Reverend Dr. Chatha Msangaambe.

The elections took place in Dowa at the end of the association’s Annual General Meeting.

Dr. Maggie Madimbo, who is Vice Chancellor of the African Bible College, has been elected as vice president, replacing Rev. Dr. Madalitso Mbewe.

Archbishop Kambalazaza said he will make sure that the association remains non-partisan while providing constructive criticism on issues affecting the citizenry.

Mr. Fletcher Moyo retained his post of Treasurer while Reverend Matilda Matabwa, who is Secretary General of the Malawi Assemblies of God and Bishop Eugene Chinunga of Integrity Family Church as Board members.
