Pope Francis’ Instagram Account Caught Liking Another Model’s Picture (See Photo)

Whoever is running Pope Francis’ Instagram account needs to be careful about the way their fingers move.

The Pontiff’s social media page has been caught liking another model’s pictures.

Margot Foxx’s picture of her dressed in a tight, black swimsuit was seen to have been liked by the @franciscus account.

The self-described ‘tiddy queen’ and OnlyFans model has responded to the holier than holy endorsement of her content, saying: “hey thats me.”

Interestingly, because Pope Francis’ account doesn’t follow a single person, it means whoever is in charge of the page would have had to go searching for the particular model.

A screenshot of the dirty deed has been circulating on social media and while it could just be a fancy Photoshop trick, it wouldn’t be all that surprising considering it’s happened before.

Brazilian model Natalia Garibotto claimed the leader of the Catholic Church had taken a shine to a snap of her wearing a very tiny schoolgirl outfit.

She later posted a short video to her account appearing to show the like on her picture from the Pope’s account.

Joking about it on Twitter, she said: “At least I’m going to heaven.”

It appears as though the video has since been removed by Garibotto – perhaps at the request of the Vatican?

Speaking to Barstool Sports at the time, she said: “My mum may hate my ass pics but the Pope be double-tapping.”

The post was quickly unliked and the official press office for the Holy See released this vague response.

“We can exclude that the ‘like’ came from the Holy See, and it has turned to Instagram for explanations,” A Vatican spokesperson said.

Ah yes, it’s Instagram’s fault for the accidental like.

According to the Catholic News Agency, the Pope’s social media channels are controlled by a team of employees and an internal investigation has been launched into the matter.

Maybe the Vatican staffer needs to be taught how to properly switch between personal and professional work accounts.
