MIZU Band nurtures Artists skills

The Founder and Band Manager for Mizu Band, Emmanuel Maliro has said the main focus of the group is to sharpen the talent and skills of upcoming musicians in the country.

Speaking in an interview, Maliro said artists in Malawi have skills and talent but they need to be sharpened further as one way of promoting music industry in the country.

“Most of our musicians have basic skills on the music especially the youth whom we are working with and our intention is nurture them to the maximum level to become best artists in the world,” he said.

Maliro who is a Marketer and also an Actor, added that thier band entertains people in various events like weddings, Engagements, organizations and company’s functions.

“Many organizations like TNM, Embassies, launch of reforms, Castel, Reserve Bank Of Malawi are some of companies which hire us to perform in their events,” he said.

He adds that at their shows, they also do have chances to invite other local performers like, The Black Missionaries, Skeffa Chimoto, Billy Kaunda and etc.
