Chakwera to Preside Over Malawi Vison 2063 Launch

All is set for the launch of Malawi Vision 2063 tomorrow as President Lazarus Chakwera is expected to preside over the event.

The New development blueprint is replacing the elapsed Vision 2020.

Thom Khanje, Communications Manager for National Planning Commission has disclosed that due to the Covid19 pandemic, the event will be held virtually.

According to Khanje, President Lazarus Chakwera will preside over the event from State House in Lilongwe while all invited officials and Malawians will follow the event through various media platforms including radio, television and online.

He added that after the launch, a 10 year implementation plan will be developed as well as a five year quick win strategy.

More so, all agencies and developmental partners will have to develop plans in line with the developmental strategy.
